Ingredients
1 cup Masaura; 1 cup chopped onion; 1 cup chopped potato; one chopped tomato; ¼ cup chopped cilantro
6 tsp cooking oil; 1 tsp salt, 1tsp cumin-coriander powder, ½ tsp Turmeric, ½ tsp Red pepper powder, 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste, 10-15 cumin seeds
Directions
1. Heat deep frying pan and add cooking oil.
2. Add Masaura and fry until it is brown.
3. Remove masaura from the frying pan and add cumin seed, chopped onion in left over cooking oil and cook until it gets brown.
4. Add salt, chopped potato and tomato and fry them for 5 minutes in medium heat.
5. Then add cumin-coriander powder, turmeric, red pepper powder, ginger-garlic paste and add some water to avoid over-heating.
6. Cook until all water vaporizes.
7. Then add fried masaura and stir for 1 minute.
8. Place the lid and let it cook for 3-4 minutes. Remember to stir for avoiding over-heating.
9. Then add 2 cup of water and place the lid on the frying pan.
10. Let it cook for 15-20 minutes.
11. Then add cilantro and serve it hot
Note: Do not cook on high heat. Be patient and cook on medium heat (mainly at 4 and 5 level on your cooking stove)
